In addition to ‘Beneath The Lab Coat‘(the section that focuses on stylish people in the medical line), i will be introducing you to some personal style and fashion bloggers i discovered through other fashion forums and communities you may or may not already know in this new section of the blog ‘Bloggers Spot’ in form of interactive interviews.

1. Could you start by telling us a bit about yourself. any habits, routines, addictions?
Well, I am cuban but I live in Germany. And I am addicted to instagram.
2. How would you describe your personal style? Do you see yourself as a fashionista or stylista?
My personal style is a mix between sporty and grunge. I would say, I am a fashionista. We all are! Fashion has no rules.
3. Tell us a bit about your blog and what inspired you to start it, what inspires your posts?
Well, I started my blog two years ago. I was inspired by a friend of mine. Nowadays everything around inspires me. It can be the music I heard or the kid from my neighbors :)!
4. What does fashion mean to you? what fashion item would you splurge on and what would you never be caught wearing, why?
Well I love fashion but I don’t follow trends. Fashion doesn’t play a big role in my life at all..
But what I do like about fashion is that I can wear everything I want. I love to combine different fashion pieces. There is nothing that I would say you will never catch me wearing. I believe that everything can look nice if you combine it properly. And I splurge on accessories 😀
5. Where do you tend to shop and why?
6. What’s (your ) the biggest challenge about blogging? How do you deal with this challenge?
The biggest challenge is finding someone who has time to take your pictures. The best thing that you can do is to shoot 2-3 outfits in a row.
7. Would you like to see anything change in the fashion industry? What and why?
Well, there is a lot. Unfortunately in Germany, bloggers are not that well known like bloggers in other countries. And generally we need to be taken seriously, companies should know that bloggers are not cheap advertisement.
8. Any last advice/tips/words for fashion lovers, fellow bloggers and modavracha’s readers?
Don’t give up and focus on your goals.
I totally agree with Nelly, some companies and brands need to see bloggers as more than sources for ‘Cheap advertising’, some brands approach you with ridiculous offers like $5- $10 to put their banners on your sidebar for atleast 3 months, put up a blog post introducing them to your readers and post their links on all your social networks. While they pay way more than that to advertising agencies. Though bloggers are not the same as advertising agencies, i believe a blogger’s reputation is more at stake when advertising a brand or product because your readers trust your opinion and would be more willing to try a product recommended by you than most advertising agencies whose sole purpose is to advertise without any prior knowledge/testing of the brand/product.

I see the grunge in your style girl. I agree, one of my biggest challenges is finding someone to take me pictures. I do have friends but I dont want to be asking them all the time so just pick a day and take pictures for 3 outfits. A bloggers reputation is definitely more at stake and we should be taken seriously.
