Blue Structured Dress Outfit – Power Dressing 101

At some point this year, I thought I didn’t have enough dresses or rather structured dresses. I was bored with the few I had but I wasn’t particularly doing anything about it. I still found myself choosing two piece styles like my kimono two piece set in shorts and trousers. Fast-forward to November, look who is now wearing more structured dresses. Blue structured dress outfit on Nigerian style blogger

When I first saw the Aura by Divalukky structured dresses on the model behind the scene of the photoshoot, I knew my boring dress days were over. I immediately fell in love with this blue structured dress and the exaggerated bow dress. There were other dresses in the collection but they got my attention because of their colors, style and fit. Blue structured dress outfit

If you’ve been following me long enough, you’ll know red and blue are two of my favorite 4 colors. The other 2 being white and black. Lately I’ve also started considering nudes and browns especially after rocking this gorgeous two piece set from same collection.

Honestly, there was a time dresses were my favorite piece of fashion clothing, especially structured dresses.  I admired them a lot on Victoria Beckham. Life happened, I got so lazy and broke sometimes to even get my legs waxed and opted for more trousers and jumpsuits to save me money, time and stress. Funny, right?

I get very uncomfortable wearing short skirts and dresses when my legs are hairy. Does this happen to you too?. It pretty much feels like everyone can see my hairs screaming out of my legs while walking in clothes above or on my knees.

Are you a structured dress person, casual dress or trousers type of girl? I’m definitely the 3 but if I were to be consistent with 1, I’ll most likely choose structured dress. I feel more powerful in structured dresses, how about you?. Blue structured dress outfit on Abuja style blogger Onyinye of Modavracha

That’s a very lovely dress! I like structured dresses when I’m happy with my body, which I’m currently not.

I like to think that I prefer dresses more than other items, but I wear a lot of pants. And jeans.

Aww, why aren’t you happy with your body currently?

Same here, I tend to wear other items even though I prefer dresses.
