Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence Review

This review of the Benton snail bee high content essence is so long overdue. This is definitely Benton’s bestseller or one of their bestsellers because it’s amazing with lots of positive reviews about it online too.

Blogger review of the Benton snail bee high content essence.

Alice of W2beauty was kind enough to offer me a voucher back in October 2014 to pick anything i wanted from her online Korean beauty store, so I chose this Benton snail bee high content essence because of the absence of a full sized essence or serum in my newly created Korean skincare routine at that time….

You might be wondering if i wasn’t bothered about the snail and bee extracts. Well, you already know about the benefits of honey which can be gotten from bees, I could only hope that bee venom would be just as awesome. This might sound or seem gross to some people, for me it’s just like any other skincare product. When i was a kid, i used to help my grandparents’ domestic worker extract snail slime (snail secrete) for them, while i can’t remember exactly what they were used for then, i guess it was used for some sort of healing since snails produce a secretion rich in proteins of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and antioxidants, collagen, glycolic acid, antibiotics and other compounds that regenerate skin cells and heal cuts.
It has also been claimed to minimize the damage generated by free radicals that are responsible for premature skin aging. (I come from 2 families – paternal and maternal where you are required to know practically everything there is to know in the world!) but that’s a story for another day, back to the review.

Review of the Benton's snail bee high content essence.

I had a particularly stubborn pimple when i first used this Benton snail bee high content essence and the next day i noticed a significant change in the size and appearance. I continued using this product and till date I’ve not had any problems with it, my face keeps getting better, combined with other products in my routine, my face looks healthier and clearer than it has been in some years (I’m documenting my progress with the skincare routine, one day i will create a post with my before and after photos).
Other reasons i love this product:

  • Very Light on the face.
  • Clear color just like water.
  • Non sticky and easily absorbed.
  • No fragrance.
  • Non irritating on skin.
  • Has a soothing effect on skin.
  • Safe for acne-prone and sensitive skin types according to COSDNA ratings of its ingredients.
  • The bottle comes with a pump for easy dispense of product.

I’m yet to find a reason to stop using it. Will i purchase the snail bee high content essence again? I already did! Still in doubt?  you can check out Skin&tonic’s before and after photos + review and tons of other reviews on google.

samples of Benton snail bee high content steam cream, Benton snail bee high content lotion, Aloe BHA skin toner, Aloe propolis soothing gel, Innisfree green tea seed oil from w2beauty.

Just like every order from w2beauty, Alice added product samples with 4 of them from Benton – the snail bee high content steam cream, the lotion, the Aloe BHA skin toner and the Aloe propolis soothing gel with the Innisfree green tea seed oil.  All the products were great on my skin for the short while i used them except the lotion. Because of the great result i got from the Benton snail bee high content essence, I purchased the steam cream but I’ve noticed that the cream might serve and suit me better only during this winter season because it feels like steam – like i’m sweating on my face (which is perfect for the harsh winter because it keeps my face moisturized all day) but it might be too thick for the hot summer days (full review on the blog soon).

If you will like to purchase the Benton snail bee high content essence from w2beauty too, get it here and you can get $5 off your first order of $30 and above with my sponsor code 055355010 plus samples and 5% off your next order when you review the purchased products following the link in the email received asking you to review the products. I think not because these bee venoms used in skincare are hypoallergenic, they are used to reduce or treat allergic reactions, inflammations and other skin problems including bee stings. But to be on a safe side, you should consult a physician to carry out possible allergy tests.

Im currently using the Benton Steam Cream and High Content Essence and for me its one of those products which works sometime and at other times it does nothing, leaving you confused as to whether you should buy this product again, for me the essence works better, the steam cream made my forehead feel really hot and sweaty and you’re right its better suited to the winter. Overall I did like these products but not exactly HG worthy, I’m currently interested in the COSRX products, so will be trying those instead.

I got interested in Cosrx products after I saw them everywhere on the Internet, I’ve tried 3 different ones including the Ultimate rice overnight spa mask, the snail cream and the BHA which is not so much of a hit for me.
I’m yet to try the Aha, maybe I’ll have better luck with it.
